Hello

Welcome.

Life can sometimes leave us feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of how to move forward. My experience working as a jail clinician,  working with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds has taught me the importance of meeting each person with compassion, curiosity, and without judgment. Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, major life changes, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself, I want therapy to be a place where you feel safe enough to be honest and supported enough to grow.

Wherever you are in your journey, you deserve a space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported. We can take things one step at a time, at a pace that feels right for you.

My Story

There is often more to your story than what others see.

You may be managing work, relationships, family responsibilities, and everyday life while privately struggling with anxiety, low mood, difficult emotions, or experiences from your past. My role is to help you slow down, look beneath the surface, and better understand what may be influencing how you think, feel, and respond.

Through my clinical work with individuals from many different backgrounds—including my experience as a jail clinician—I have learned that people are rarely defined by one chapter of their lives. Our experiences, relationships, environment, and past can all shape the way we respond to the world. I bring that understanding into my work by creating a therapeutic relationship grounded in respect, compassion, and curiosity.

Your experiences have shaped you, but they do not have to define you.

I believe meaningful therapy begins with understanding—not judgment. Before we can change a pattern, we often need to understand where it came from, what purpose it once served, and how it may be affecting us today.

Then what it looks like working with me?

I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, relationship concerns, self-esteem, emotional challenges, and life transitions. My work draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and other evidence-based approaches, depending on your individual needs and goals.

Through Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), we may explore the thoughts, emotions, and experiences that you have been trying to avoid or control and develop a different relationship with them. Rather than waiting until difficult feelings disappear before moving forward, ACT can help you identify what matters most to you and learn how to take meaningful action even when life feels uncomfortable or uncertain. We may explore your values, patterns of avoidance, and the ways you want to show up in your relationships, work, and everyday life.

With Motivational Interviewing, I focus on helping you discover your own reasons for change rather than telling you what you should do. If part of you wants to make a change while another part feels hesitant, afraid, or unsure, we can explore that ambivalence without judgment. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to help you clarify what you want, recognize your strengths, and build the confidence to move toward the changes that matter to you.

Therapy doesn’t have to be about changing who you are. Sometimes, it is about understanding yourself more deeply and discovering new ways to move through life.
